How does Arbor Day Coffee help protect the rainforest?
Arbor Day Coffee is shade-grown in the rain forest. This method encourages farmers to cultivate coffee responsibly under the rain forest tree canopy rather than clear-cutting areas of rain forest to make way for a more mechanized approach. Learn more.
What certifications does Arbor Day Coffee have?
The Arbor Day Foundation works directly with farmers to promote sustainable agroforestry management practices. We visit with the farmers each year to ensure they meet our requirements and certify that our coffee is shade-grown. Our La Sombra Blend is also Fair Trade Certified.™
What type of bean does Arbor Day Coffee consist of?
Arbor Day Coffee consists of 100 percent Arabica beans.
How long will an unopened package of Arbor Day Coffee last?
An unopened package of coffee will last approximately 6 months.
How long will an opened package of Arbor Day Coffee last?
It is best to use an opened package of coffee within 2 weeks.
How should I store my coffee?
We recommend storing your coffee in an airtight container and in a cool, dark, dry place. Storing coffee in a refrigerator or freezer is not recommended, as it mutes the aroma of the coffee and is not proven to extend life or freshness.
Is Arbor Day Coffee considered gluten free?
The Celiac Sprue Association (CSA) considers all fresh-brewed coffee to be gluten free.
What package sizes are available?

Is Arbor Day Coffee available in Keurig® Cups (K-Cups)?
Does the Arbor Day Foundation offer specials or discounts?
Yes. If you sign up for the Arbor Day Coffee Club, you will receive a 20% discount on all of your coffee shipments. Wholesale pricing is also available if you or your company purchases over 50 lbs. of coffee per month. Please contact us at 402-473-9543 for more details.
Do your single-serve capsules contribute to landfill waste?
Most “k-cups” on the market today are made from non-recyclable plastic, and do contribute to landfill waste. Arbor Day Coffee single-serve capsules are made from 100% #5 recyclable plastic, offering users a more sustainable single-serve option.
My community does not recycle #5 plastic. What do I do?
If your community recycling program does not currently accept #5 plastics, we encourage you to recycle your capsules with our partner, TerraCycle. Visit www.terracycle.com to learn how you can quickly and easily recycle these and other traditionally difficult-to-recycle products in your home.

How can I change my coffee subscription frequency, quantity, and/or blend(s)?
You can change the quantity, blends, and frequency of your coffee subscription anytime by logging into your account. Once logged in, click on Reoccurring Orders to manage your subscription. I’m going on vacation. Can I put my Arbor Day Coffee Club order on hold?
Yes. You may move your next shipment date by logging into your account. Once logged in, click on Reoccurring Orders to manage your subscription. Our Member Services department can also be reached toll free at 888-448-7337, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Central Time.
I have too much coffee. What should I do?

How do I cancel my Coffee Club Subscription?
We’re sorry to see you go! To cancel your subscription or move your next shipment date, log into your account. Once logged in, click on Reoccurring Orders to manage your subscription. Are all coffee products available in coffee club?
Most coffee products are available; however, recyclable cups are currently not a subscription offering.
Shipping
How is Arbor Day Coffee shipped?
Depending on the weight of your coffee, we will either ship using USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground. By shipping your coffee using the most cost-effective method, we can ensure you receive the best price.
I have several locations (stores, hotels, churches, etc.) that will receive coffee regularly. Can you ship to multiple locations but bill one central location?
Yes, we can. Please visit our Wholesale Coffee page and request a free bag of coffee. We will send you a sample of coffee and be in touch with you about your specific coffee needs. Or you can contact us directly at 402-473-9543.
Can Arbor Day Coffee be shipped internationally?
Yes, we can ship internationally. Additional charges may apply.
